At night, near the Anatolian town of Keskin, a team of Turkish state officials is being led to a murder victim by a suspect accused of the crime, except he can’t remember where he buried the body. As the night draws on, details about the murder emerge, along with the investigators’ own secrets and hypocrisies. The slow pace, and moody, atmospheric cinematography allow us to be drawn into the characters, their stories, and the beautiful but menacing countryside. Cannes Grand Prix Winner.
